Holiday Reading Challenge - Recommendation - Weirdo.

I would recommend this book to Wiremu because is pretty funny having his name Weirdo. The book is about a boy named Weirdo going to a new school and he's trying to fit in. He discusses how weird his family can be and how he got his name. Later on in the book he meets a girl named Bella but is too shy to talk to her.

The title of the book I read was called Dead Harry. The author

was Ken Catran, Ken Catran is also a New Zealand author.. I made my own cover design because I  thought the other one looked

plain simple and boring. Although my one doesn't have colour I love it.

Holiday Reading Challenge - The Hunger Games - Rewrite the ending of the story.

If you could rewrite the ending of the story what would happen?  Write a paragraph explaining what you think should have happened

Why Your ending is better: My ending is better because there my ending has one Hunger Games winner.

The Original ending: Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark from District 12 win The Hunger Games together and Peeta is Heartbroken when when he learns that Katniss's reason at the arena were part of a planned ploy to earn sympathy from the crowd. 

Theme:

What I think should happen: Katniss Everdeen should win the whole Hunger Games by herself and spear Peeta's life. But should still have a secret love story.
