Vending Machine Problem.

For this this problem I used multiplication and my fraction knowledge. I was working with Wiremu and we managed to do 2 strategies. The second strategy was the quickest. I came up with another problem you could try figure out - In 1 lollie there are bag 11 pieces of sour grape bubblegum. The other 1/2 of the bag are strawberry flavoured. How much strawberry flavoured bubblegum are there?

Chicken, Fox and Corn.

In maths we did a question sort of riddle. We had to take the chicken, fox and corn across the river but however you can only take one. If you take the chicken, then the fox, you can't because of the fox will   eat the chicken. But if you take the corn then chicken, that won't work either because the chicken will eat the corn. So that was the question we had to answer.

Problem Solving - Wk 5 - Making 100.

Here we are learning to add digits to equal 100. We had to make the number 1-9 equal 100 making sure we used multiplication, subtraction, adding, and division. I worked with Cyprus but we did our own separately. I started off with 9 x 9 to make it equal over 80. Then I added the rest and multiplied it by one.

What country were you born in.

Here is a pie chart of how much people were born in a country. As you can see New Zealand has more people who were born there. Eight people responded to my survey and four were born in New Zealand. Only one person was born in Tonga, Cook Islands, Aghanistan and China.

Name reflection.

Here is my name reflection. I drew my name in slope kind of writing. Once I had done the top part I reflected the same on bottom. When I had finished all those steps I coloured it in and made some things.
