Matariki Story.

Here is my retell story of Matariki and how the seven stars separated their parents. My retell was supposed to be for the juniors but I think this is too complicated for them. Next time I need to work on who I'm writing this for.

Ordering Fractions.

For maths I played a fraction game and ordered the fractions in order. There were three levels and I still have two left. You had 5 lives and if you had a mistake you would lose one life. I lost no lives but the next level could be harder.

Character Analysis - Witch - Hansel and Gretel.

The Character Analysis I did was about the witch from Hansel and Gretel. I did the Witches aspects and highlighted the one's that she has.

Spelling test.

Today in spelling I learnt a new word that's called lodge. It means to a small house or shelter. As you can see I got my words and answered all of them right and on point.

Today we had to comment on 3 blogs, one in our class, one in the whole school and one in the Manaiakalani Cluster. I commented on Gozan from my class, Room 2 from my school and Glenbrae from the Cluster. We had to give feedback and feedforward. Go check out there blogs.

Problem Solving - Wk 5 - Making 100.

Here we are learning to add digits to equal 100. We had to make the number 1-9 equal 100 making sure we used multiplication, subtraction, adding, and division. I worked with Cyprus but we did our own separately. I started off with 9 x 9 to make it equal over 80. Then I added the rest and multiplied it by one.

This is our Maths for today. It was challenging at first but once I used my brain I was onto it. I worked it out but sorting out the shape of the patterns.
