I am poem reflection.
Connective Writing.
Nana and Poppa lived in the countryside. Nana disliked living in the countryside, so she headed over to visit us in the city. Later, she didn’t want to return home after she came to our house. Poppa had to go home alone, and fetch her the next day. Poppa chatted to mum and they decided to let nana stay in the city. They soon sold their old countryside house and came to live with us. It took very long to settle in, but it was worth it. I was really glad that they came to live with us.
Here is my story about connective writing. In order to make this story more interesting we added some connective words like meanwhile, after, eventually. We also added some adjectives as well.

3D Art.
- Ruler
- Colour pencils
- Vivid
- Your Hand
- Pencil
You have to trace around your hand with a pencil. After ruler a line with your rule then make a bump in your hand. Keep repeating that until you reach the top. Later pick two colours to colour in your hand. But before you colour in your hand outline the ruled lines in vivid. Then once you've done all those steps, your art should look like a 3D art.

When I was young - Onomatopoeia.
Splash! As my friend sinked into the water. I just had leaped off the diving board. I was at the pools with my friends. The pools were downtown and it was packed. People were jamming on the diving boards and heaps of people on the slide. We wanted to go on both but it was too full, we would be waiting for ages. Later we just decided to kick back and relax inside.
We had just jumped in the kiddies pool inside. It was very warm. We had some fun in there like playing touch, volleyball or rugby. We were bored as the fun started to go away. We decided to go outside because one, it was warm, a little bit too warm. And two it was boring with kids around us. So we went outside. It was freezing cold. As we were shivering in the ice cold water we noticed that the slide and diving board didn’t have that much people there. We straight away rushed out and went to the slide first.
When we finally got there I saw a long set of stairs. I was horrified, I climbed up and eventually made it. We slid down like snakes four times. Our final time on the slide, we all decided to go down together. Even though we would get into trouble it would be cool because it was our final time anyways. After we got a warning from the lifeguard. Later we walked over to the diving board. My friend went first then me. There were seven of us. My friend went first, he made it Splash! Then me. I didn’t want to jump because I could belly flop. But, as soon as I jumped the alarm went off.

Plagiarism and Referencing.
Plagiarism and Referencing
Plagiarism definition - An act or instance of using or closely imitating the language and thoughts of another author without authorization and the representation of that author's work as one's own, as by not crediting the original author: It is said that he plagiarized Thoreau's plagiarism of a line written by Montaigne.
My definition - Taking someone else's work and stating it as your own without asking the creator.
Referencing definition - An act or instance of referring.
My definition - Using a source for your work and labeling it in your work.
What does this mean to me? Plagiarism and Referencing to me mean, having my work as an original. Without anyone complaining that I copied and pasted it. Also it means to not having the same work as anyone, because it would look silly.
Reference for definitions - Dictionary Reference
Why is it important to know this? It is important to know this because if you plagiarize you could get into some trouble. You can get sued as well and you get sent to jail. Also Plagiarism is stealing and copying someone's work.

Our art.
On Monday room 6 did some art. We had paper, a pencil, a compass, crayons and a ruler. We measured a square, 10cm each side. Later we got the compass and did a quarter of a circle in the square. Once we had finished that, we started drawing a design in the square. We all did one individually but put it all together to make it.

Room 6 2015.
This year is going to be a new, exiting year. I have changed from a year 7 to a year 8, and I am feeling nervous for the things ahead. I would like meeting new people, and to make new friends. I hope not to get in trouble this year. My goals are to focus on my reading and maths.
