For this this problem I used multiplication and my fraction knowledge. I was working with Wiremu and we managed to do 2 strategies. The second strategy was the quickest.
I came up with another problem you could try figure out -
In 1 lollie there are bag 11 pieces of sour grape bubblegum. The other 1/2 of the bag are strawberry flavoured. How much strawberry flavoured bubblegum are there?

Hi Anthony I love maths and the way you explained your strategy. But when you say answer 2, you are suppose to give the answer not the strategy but great work.
